What is an administrator?

An administrator is a user with special rights granted to them by a bureaucrat. These rights give the user unique abilities, such as blocking users, special editing tools, and the ability to prot pages. Administrators must also enforce the wiki rules and act upon all violations. In a nutshell, admins are the users that maintain and protect the wiki and its community.

Requirements

In order to apply for administrative rights, you must...

• Have a clean history on this wiki.
• Be a member of this wiki for at least a month.
• Prove yourself to be an intelligent, amiable, and helpful person.

Expectations

Administrators on the True Tail Wiki are expected to...

• Check in at least once a week.
• Work politely and cooperatively with others.
• Help out around the wiki frequently (monitor pages, edit, help users, etc.) and attend admin meetings.
• Deal with offending users immediately and as necessary.

When do I apply?

When the wiki is looking for an administrator, users will be informed via a highlighted forum post, and applications may be made. If the admin team feels that another admin is needed, applications will be reviewed and declined or accepted in the order they are made. Only Pinkpeony73 may accept or decline an application, although user input is appreciated.
