One of the creators of true tails is my cousin
True Tail was announced back in 2013 with a separate style and tweaked character designs, along with a discrete storyline, a rejected cast, and a more complicated setting. To date, they cancelled that particular version and the new version of True Tail has since been renannounced in 2018, where almost everything related to the original version was whirled all the way to start again from scratch; literally, and the team working on True Tail (Skynamic Studios) then released a few brief storyboards and minor leaks of new characters joining up the block, along with major scraps of information regarding the campaign their using to make the official pilot for True Tail (a pilot for the original True Tail came out a while back, but nothing has been backupped since to that potential and the team just left it in the dust), basically I find it ironic that the pilot’s raising is partially fulfilled and no updates are given; the Twitter and YouTube accounts for Skynamic Studios have been relatively quiet, and nothing much but them showing off “sweet artwork” hooking around True Tail concepts, and nothing interesting to speak up about further development and growing functions of the show (I will not say the release date since I know their still boarding on that for a undisclosed grain of time); the team themselves has been working on the show since the beginning and when they graduated their studies, started a company to gain money and find hope in animation industries, getting accustomed to their work, and to overall create an experienced, coming-of-age show anyone can relate with (it’s dressing was a Roman-like gesture because with the squires, knights.. etc?)— however, again, we haven’t had much of joy with the lack of updates on the show itself, like aforementioned; okay sure it’s kind of smooth that we shouldn’t pressure the team on letting the show dock off with a release by now, but it’s kind of like fans of the show are ranting about a release, and the team surrounding the show seems to have (possibly?) cancelled the show or maybe put in on an indefinite hold of delay, production, and slight postpone process; but it looks more the team is sugarcoating the release, and it seems their trying to forget about it step by step.. it’s kind of awkward and lazy to do— as shows like this don’t really take awfully long; I know the animation of the show is taking like almost a decade to master since it’s kind of the Flash style their trying to pull off with every notable movement and visual render, but they can’t just let the show rot like a tomato; it’s unfair to their audience, and plain madness. Everything of the show’s schedule is roped down, bumpy and spiky, barely any faith is given— all updates are scarce, the team is way too misty when it comes to boycotting their show like this. All socials are inactive as well which makes the scenario more of a mystery. All I can say at the end of the day is that the shady history in this show’s coverage is just… sad; simply sad. I feel bad for the people awaiting for the show badly; they don’t deserve to be dazzled off like this. The team isn’t helping the factor; 9 years is too much of a wait for a show. This was almost like the last straw, I had to say this all. It had to be done, said, and over with. If someone asked me if I’d rather watch True Tail or Lackadaisy; I would easily pick the latter; no question.
There you go. I hope this whole monologue resonated with the fellow fans of True Tail who can’t bear to wait any more crusty months for the pilot. I know displaying this on its wiki version won’t make a public change to anything related to True Tail and the team behind it, but it’s still worth wholeheartedly reading when you take time off your day.

I feel as this series is dead with nothing further than a concept idea coming out. It's been several years past when I first heard of this and until now, they haven't released it. This is taking way too long. Even this wiki is dead. THe last posts were from October or November 2022, but this is 2023 already. So, it's my opinion, but I think both the wiki and show are dead.

Franchise news
- The next two pages of True Tail: One Halloween Night were released in late April. Page #12 features the first official appearances of Garth, Ami, Dylan, and Harper! Make sure to check it out!
Wiki news
- The recently created species pages have been deleted (see the last post), as I believe that they were unnecessary. The List of species is now all we have.
Administrator openings
It has come to my attention that the only other admin on this wiki besides myself, ThePonderFox, has been inactive since November. I have attempted to contact her several times since then, but to no avail. Thus, depending on whether or not she chooses to return, she may be demoted.
Now, it's clear that a second admin is not needed right now, but when True Tail is released, I think that at least one more will be needed to oversee activity. I will be creating some type of list, hopefully soon, where any user who wishes to have rights can put their name down for my consideration. I'll start working on this as soon as I can. Check back soon for a link.

- True Tail's Facebook page released several gifs over the past month. A good sign, as that (hopefully) means that they're continuing to refine and perfect their animation.

- The True Tail crew has revealed via Facebook that they are planning realeasing a long animation in order to fund their kickstarter to launch their pilot episode, hopefully in late spring.

Hello, TTW community! This is the first post of a monthly wiki newsletter that I will be writing. Most newsletters will contain the following:
- News (both franchise- and wiki-related)
- Possible user opportunities
- Episode updates
- Polls
- Helpful links
- Discussion prompts
I thought doing something like this will boost our wiki's activity and keep the community closely-knit. So, here goes!
News:
1. Due to its inactivity, I adopted this wiki in November of 2017. Ever since then, I have been working hard to keep this wiki going. However, I would like to remind everyone who might be reading that I am not the only admin; ThePonderFox also has rights. Therefore, please feel free to contact her as well if you have any problems.
2. Ever since True Tail was redone, this wiki has needed an update, and I have done my best to fix it up. Major changes include:
- the main page
- templates
- overall article formatting
3. Probably the biggest bit of news is that True Tail has been revamped, as revealed by Skynamic Studios in the fall of 2017. The series has changed quite a bit, from character design to the setting, and we are still struggling to change every page to accommodate this update - especially since we don't really know right now what is concept and what is canon. Please feel free to help out in this area.
User opportunities:
As this wiki is fairly dormant, a third administrator is not needed right now. However, once True Tail airs and the wiki becomes more active, there may be an opening. I will keep you updated.

Greetings, everyone!
I'm making this post to inform you all that I have recently adopted this wiki due to its inactivity. That being said, I am planning to revamp some of this wiki's features. Please take a look at the new features with which I am planning to proceed:
- Revamped infoboxes - there really isn't much to do here, mainly just adding more sections and a few headers to clean them up a bit.
- Voting system - should this wiki become fairly active, I am going to "install" voting templates, which users can use to vote on ideas proposed via the forum.
- Rule page - mainly just a few cleanups, adding and/or subtracting a few rules perhaps.
- To-do list - mainly just updating.
- Header image - as I think that the wiki's current design works well, the only thing I am going to add is a header image, just to make the wiki look slightly more polished.
- Main page revamping - the main page could use some work, so I plan to add a slider, some images, more info, etc.
So that's all for now. If anyone has any questions, or dislikes any of these new proposals, please let me know.

As many of you may know with the new update on their Facebook page, TrueTail has changed a lot. With that being said, please do not delete or replace any pages, information, etc. Because of this recent change, most older pages will be moved to Earlier/Older concepts and a new page will be created in place of the earlier concept (For example: Doh-Li the Priestess will be moved to Earlier/Older concepts and a new page called Dohli Ling will be created as the final concept of the character). This process will definitely take a while, but with time, it will all come together nicely! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Thank you so much for your support and keep up the awesome work!

Yay! I've finally updated the monthly poll that is located at the bottom of the home page! Sorry for being so late! Last month's poll asked where you thought our group would travel to next after the first episode. The results of that poll are as follows: The Shimmering Hills with 6 votes, The Dawn Forest with 3 votes, and the last two, Waterwheel and The Spider Mountains, tying with 2 votes. After the first episode, maybe the group will run into some crystal creatures!

The team of True Tail has responded on Facebook that there will be news about True Tail very soon! They've been keeping silent because of the process of pitching to networks, and they've said that they will give us news as soon as they can! :)

I've updated the monthly poll located at the bottom of the home page! Last month's poll asked about what other well-known mythological creature do you think will most likely appear in True Tail. The results of the poll are as follows: Dragon with 7 votes, Kitsune with 3 votes, Unicorn with 2 votes, and Chimera with 1 vote. Who knows, maybe we'll see a dragon in the series!
Anyways, I will be accepting ideas for future monthly polls. Feel free to send me your ideas on my Message Wall or in the Forum!

So, I was just looking around at the wiki, I also watched the trailer for this show and it looks neat!!! (well yeah there's a cute fox but yeah *ahem*) I haven't seen anything yet though about where the episodes are supposed to be released. YouTube? Netflix? Something I wouldn't be able to watch them on? Anyone know? :)
